Baby Mombo is a baby-wearing dance fitness class designed by Amanda to help caregivers sweat and smile with their little ones! During this 45-minute high-energy class, babies will be wrapped in love while they feel the rhythm of their caregivers getting fit!

Not sure if you can keep up? This class will be taught with multiple intensity levels to match what is comfortable for you and your baby. Every day is different, so do what feels right for you during every song in every class!

Not sure if this will be enough of a workout? Take the squats deeper or walk further on the traveling steps. I’ll demonstrate the various levels you can choose to take each song in the class. You can also use hand weights to increase the toning of your arms.

Before attending a class, please check out this helpful site full of information, tips, and tricks to ensure your baby is safely and correctly placed in your carrier!

All mamas must be cleared for exercise by their respective doctors/midwives. Anyone with a severe or diagnosed case of Diastasis Recti, please contact me before attending.

FAQ’s

What is the oldest age a child can attend?

As long as your child remains in the carrier and you feel comfortable enough carrying them, any age child is welcome. Typically, children attend through 18-24 months.

What is the youngest age a child can attend?

The youngest age I will allow is 6 weeks, and only if the mom has been cleared by her doctor/midwife to return to exercise.

Can I bring my older child?

Unfortunately, no. The only children allowed to attend Baby Mombo are those inside the carrier for their safety. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Do I have to bring my own carrier?

Yes. There are as many variations of carriers as there are styles of jeans. What works for one person will not work for another. Please find a carrier that fits your body type as well as your child’s comfort level. If you forget, there may be an extra on-site; however, please always plan to bring your own.

*If carriers are needed for a community class, please contact Amanda while booking.

What should I eat before class?

Plan on eating a light snack (think carbs and protein!) approximately 45 minutes before class to keep you feeling strong while we dance. Always bring water!

As always, please email me with any questions; I can’t wait to dance with you soon!
